Position Description

The Strategic Programs office of Dynetics Technical Solutions, (DTS) a wholly owned subsidiary of Dynetics, is seeking a qualified Supplier Program Management Manager for its Strategic Programs line of business. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics Technical Solutions provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

The Manager, Supplier Program Management will lead the team of Supplier Program Managers (SPM). General responsibilities will include organizing, planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating work assignments of the SPM team to meet project milestones or established completion dates. SPM team is part of the Operations team, interfacing with MRP, MEs and Change Management to support smooth production flow from release of new drawings through delivery of HGBs.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Provide guidance to SPM team regarding supplier activities in support of the Strategic Programs product line
  • Set expectations for the SPM team
  • Identify supplier capability or process gaps and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Maintain departmental metrics
  • Define tasks and required resources
  • Direct SPM’s management of supplier delivery schedules
  • Manage budget

Basic Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering from an accredited university with previous supply chain/project management experience is required

At least 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain management and

At least 8 years of experience with product development or production environments

Other Qualifications

The following skills/abilities are desired:

  • Basic skills with Microsoft Office products
  • Work with a team of engineers and technicians in a fast paced, quality critical environment
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
  • Experience in Agile teams
  • Proven ability to solicit and process complex information and data to solve complex problems and make sound decisions
  • Strong interpersonal skills with measured and articulate communication skills
  • Analytical and strong organizational skills, with excellent verbal and written ability

Strong leadership skills, strong collaboration skills to work with cross functional team members, experience working in a highly deadline-driven environment, experience documenting efforts and reporting out to the team, passion for leading and motivating others and strong initiative.

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
