Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a passionate, detailed-oriented problem-solver to serve as the Flight Test Engineer to support the Multi-Service Advanced Capability Hypersonics Test Bed (MACH-TB) Flight Test Program as part of the Advanced Materials Product Group. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The focus of the MACH-TB Program is to develop rapid-cadence, affordable flight-testing capabilities to quickly advance the Technology Readiness Level of our nation’s hypersonic technologies. To that end, and as an integral member of the MACH-TB Team, the successful candidate will develop flight test plans to evaluate various technologies, methods, conditions, etc. The selected candidate will interface directly with program management, military and other government personnel, and a team of multi-discipline design and development engineers, both internal and external, to support the program’s complex and thorough test and evaluation requirements. The candidate must be able to develop test and evaluation strategies utilizing models, simulations, analyses, tests, and demonstrations. A firm understanding of missile system architectures, system interfaces, performance requirements verification and validation techniques is essential for the role. The selected candidate will support presentation of the test plans and related artifacts they have developed to the customer in formal design reviews and will serve as a customer liaison in test and evaluation IPTs.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
