Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex aerospace problems. You will collaborate and communicate effectively with project managers, customers, and team members to produce avionics designs and products based on customer performance, schedule, and cost requirements. A system-level perspective will allow you to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team to bring design concepts to life in support of the warfighter.
In addition, you will lead a software team in the development of flight software, as well as work with electrical and mechanical engineering teams to ensure avionics size, weight, and power needs are met. You will also contribute ground and flight testing of resulting flight vehicles.

BS in Engineering from an ABET accredited program with a 3.0+ GPA
Minimum of 5 years’ experience
Are you able to collaborate with Subject Matter Experts in a wide range of disciplines, including software, mechanical, electrical, and aerospace engineers, if so APPLY?
Practical experience in the use of Systems Engineering and Test principles
Excellent communication skills
Candidate must also be a US Citizen and be in (or willing to relocate to) the Huntsville area.
Extra consideration givenn to candidates with the following:
General understanding of aircraft flight principles
Hardware-in-the-loop integration, testing and test planning in a real-time environment
Sensor instrumentation, radio communication links or GPS/INS system experience is a plus
Candidates with previous experience working in a team environment are preferred
Candidates with 7-10 years of experience are preferred
3.5+ GPA preferred
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
