Position Description

Dynetics Technical Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dynetics, is seeking a talented Quality CMM Programmer Operator Technician to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. The CMM Operator-Operator candidate will be responsible for verifying that machined and assembled hardware meet specified drawing/CAD model requirements using Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM), setting up and measuring parts using standard hand tools and gages etc., and verifying assemblies per drawing requirements. Other duties may also include performing receiving inspection, calibration of standard inspection equipment. Applicant must be able to work in a fast-paced R&D environment with minimal supervision.

Basic Qualifications

Candidate must possess a High School diploma or GED with 3+ years of CMM Programming-Operating Inspection experience.

• Experience with Brown and Sharpe / Hexagon CMM’s w/PC-DMIS software is a plus.
• Candidate must be proficient with inspections using micrometers, height gages, gage blocks, radius gages, and calipers etc.
• Experience in an AS9100 Aerospace and Defense manufacturing environment is a plus
• Candidate must be able to read and interpreting drawings, GD&T specifications and 3-D solid models.
• Candidate must be able to populate inspection reports to AS9102 standards or general inspection reports.
• Candidate must have Computer Skills and can use computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.
• Applicant must be able to work a full-time, 4-days per week 10-hours per shift (Monday – Thursday, 4 PM – 2:30 AM, possible overtime on Friday).
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

Other Qualifications

Preference shown to candidates with experience and/or working knowledge of:

• CMM inspection experience of complex aerospace hardware.
• Digital Product Definition.
• Romer Arm or Laser Tracker
• Experience in Spatial Analyzer software.

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
