Position Description

Dynetics Technical Solutions (DTS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dynetics, is seeking a talented Capacity and Production Scheduler to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics Technical Solutions provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain a master production schedule for multiple resources including a machining center, welding & fabrication center, mechanical assembly center, and Quality Assurance work center.
• Schedule within maintain capacity planning using Dynafact scheduling software
• Prepare shop floor dispatch reports daily
• Communicate with Project Managers regarding capacity and scheduling challenges
• Conduct daily production meetings
• Add and maintain schedule resources in CostPoint, Solumina, and/or Dynafact
• Work with Production Planners and Manufacturing Supervisors to communicate schedule priority
• Report actuals vs. estimated planned work metrics

Basic Qualifications

High School diploma or GED with at least 5 years of experience with CNC Machining, Fabrication, Manufacturing, Assembly Integration & Test, Production Control, and/or Material Resource Planning (ERP/MRP).

Demonstrate knowledge of scheduling and quality control principles (AS9100).

Experience in MS Office Software and CostPoint/Solumina/Dynafact systems.

Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

Other Qualifications

Preference shown to candidates who possess an Associate Degree

Preferred candidates will also have experience and/or working knowledge with ERP systems such as:

• Dynafact
• CostPoint
• Solumina

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
