Dynetics, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Leidos, Inc. seeks a talented Senior Contracts Team Manager to join a diverse team and empower them to create unique solutions for complex challenges. The selected candidate will report to the Contracts Director and support all contract management activities for a diverse portfolio of contracts.

Primary Responsibilities:
Daily leadership of a team of Contracts professionals executing a wide variety of contract actions with in-depth knowledge of all contract types, mentorship, and management of his or her own portfolio of contracts requirements. This includes providing the oversight and evaluation of major proposals, monitoring major contracts, recommending and implementing new solutions to achieve functional objectives, serving as a critical asset in key negotiations, resolving multi-faceted and complex contractual/customer issues as they arise, addressing performance issues, identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with policies, and developing and maintaining excellent customer relationships.
Candidate must be self-motivated and able to work independently. Must be a respected leader, routinely interacting with programs, contracts, procurement, finance, project control, legal and export control team members. Proactively engage with staff and Government contracting counterparts in order to be responsive to customer requirements.
Experience with Teaming Agreements, Nondisclosure Agreements, License Agreements and other legal instruments is required.
-Four (4) plus years of management experience with either a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with 10+ years of Contracts experience OR 8+ years of Contracts experience with a Masters, J.D., or other advanced degree
-Expert knowledge within government proposals and contracts
-Familiarity with U.S. Government Research and Development (R&D) and manufacturing contracting
-Experience in developing creative business models
-Excellent negotiation skills, including experience negotiating complex terms and conditions.
-Must have experience with all contract types (time-and-materials, fixed price, and cost-plus contracts) and a working knowledge of FAR/DFARS.
-Experience with commercial contracts, including sales of commercial hardware and software products, with particular emphasis on Intellectual Property terms.
-Experience with non-disclosure agreements and teaming agreements.
-Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities.
-Strong interpersonal skills with measured and articulate communication skills; build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers; proven history of building a team environment, fostering communication, listening to staff concerns, and reconciling internal issues or differences
-Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama area.
-Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
-A Masters, J.D., or other advanced degree
-A current Secret or Top Secret clearance
