Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Classified Material Control Specialist to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
Candidate selected will be responsible for providing document control services for multiple locations. They will support all aspects of document control including SIMS database, processing incoming and outgoing classified material, inventory, supporting the ISSM/ISSOs, and supporting large conferences. They will provide day-to-day document control security support to multiple classified programs and interface with external/internal customers to provide required documentation and proper security classifications in compliance with established program security plans and customer directives. They will support classified Information Systems with file transfer requests, marking and controlling classified Information Systems, etc. Candidate will also conduct closed work area security procedures (opening and closing areas, alarm response, security moves, escort duties) and properly handle classified material (receipt, transmittal, sign in/out, filing, wrapping, marking, destruction, distribution, courier, and various products and materials.).
They will maintain a regular and predictable work schedule and establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Company, and the external security professionals. Candidate will interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment. Other duties will be performed as necessary and some possible travel and overtime required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, bend, crouch or crawl.
- High School Diploma and 3+ years’ experience in Industrial and/or National Security field required.
- Proficient in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and National Industrial Security System (NISS)
- Experience using the Security Information Management Systems (SIMs) database
- Marking Classified Training (i.e. Derivative Classification) also required.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds as required.
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills are required as well as a proven ability to work independently and with others in a collaborative environment.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education preferred.
Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Experience shipping Classified hardware in accordance with NISPOM/NISPOM RULE 32 CFR
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance and must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
