Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Branch Manager for the Advanced Solutions Development Branch to lead a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

Dynetics is seeking an experienced individual to provide leadership to a multidisciplinary engineering team to address diverse technical challenges for members of the Rapid Integration & Prototyping Department’s, Advanced Solutions Development Branch and its customers. These challenges include rapid system design, system development, industry wide trade studies, as well as in depth flow sim and thermal analysis.

The individual filling this position will work with a wide spectrum of personnel including executive leadership, program managers, chief engineers, technical staff, business development, and functional organizations across the Dynetics / Leidos enterprise to provide:

• Effective and efficient execution of existing programs in support of a wide range of Department of Defense customers and contractors.
• Cultivation and development of existing customer relationships while working to develop new relationships that enhance and expand our customer base.
• Provide leadership, growth, and development of the technical staff and capabilities of the team to meet the growing demands of our customers, emerging business opportunities, and on-contract growth potential.

Basic Qualifications

Individual must possess a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university or a minimum of 14 years of experience in the Mechanical Engineering field.

The candidate must have experience in the following areas:

• Strong leadership credentials, good organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong technical background.
• Demonstrated experience developing and leading a team of talented employees to provide high-end technical services in a competitive environment.
• Organization and management of a highly technical engineering and analysis staff.
• Capable of identifying business development opportunities; capture, proposal development / support, and strategy.
• Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a managerial role with direct reports.

Other Qualifications

Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

Security Requirements

U.S. Citizenship and a current Final Secret Clearance is required with the ability to meet applicable program security eligibility requirements for the position. Must be able to maintain a Final Secret Clearance along with meeting and maintaining program security eligibility.
