Position Description

Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Electronic Warfare (EW) Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

Dynetics is seeking a candidate experienced in performing all-source data collection and screening, complex engineering analyses, and threat modeling in various domains. Candidates should be familiar with the following areas: radar systems, electronic attack, weapons systems. Candidates will conduct in-depth engineering research, Characteristics & Performance (C&P) data analysis, and technical documentation. Candidates will use specialized analysis and support software to ensure assessments are accurately reflected in national technical libraries such as the EW integrated reprogramming database (EWIRDB) and Combat Support Database (CSDB).

Basic Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or related degree and 2+years experience.
• The candidate must demonstrate the ability to manage and conduct engineering analysis across several technical disciplines, including analysis on weapon systems, platforms, electro-optic systems and communication systems.
• The candidate must be able to work independently and with teams with excellent verbal/written communication skills

Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and a resident of the San Antonio, TX area or be willing to relocate to the area.

Other Qualifications

• Understanding of antenna design/analysis, radar signal processing and radar requirements analysis
• Experience in communications and electro-optical systems
• Matlab and other software-based simulation experience
• Candidates already possessing an active Secret clearance are considered a plus.

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
