Position Description

Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Cyber Engineer (Mid-Level) to join a diverse team creating unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber, and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific, and IT solutions.

Dynetics’ Cyber and Electromagnetic Activities (CEMA) Department is seeking a mid-level cyber engineer with requisite skills and interests to support solutions for the U.S. defense and intelligence communities. The engineer in this role will support cyber programs with a focus on software reverse engineering, vulnerability research, and object-oriented software development. The candidate must be willing to work onsite at a government facility, as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant experience with B.S. or 0-2 years with M.S.
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Cyber Engineering, or related technical degree with a final GPA of 3.2 or higher.
• Experience with object-oriented software development using C++, Java, or Python.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems and associated ecosystem of tools.

Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area

Other Qualifications

• Active U.S. security clearance preferred.
• Familiarity with software reverse engineering and related tools (Ghidra, IDA).
• Familiarity with vulnerability research and exploit development techniques.
• Familiarity with embedded system software/firmware and real-time operating systems.
• Familiarity with virtualization and emulation technologies (VMware, VirtualBox, QEMU).

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Top Secret/SSBI Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Final Top Secret Clearance.
