Position Description

Dynetics, a wholly subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Fires CEMA Protection Program Manager to join a diverse, highly-skilled team to create unique solutions for complex problems involving Fires portfolio weapon systems and training devices. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides alert, cost-effective intelligence, engineering, scientific, and IT solutions.

This is a full-time position with the new Dynetics office in Lawton, Oklahoma, promoting the U.S. Army at Ft. Sill. This position entails a combination of program and project management, technical engineering coordination, on-site customer guidance, and building several new capabilities in promotion of Ft. Sill/FCoE and AFC AMD and LRPF CFT opportunities. The ideal candidate is a proven expert with significant operational management and program and acquisition management expertise in Air Defense Artillery (ADA) and/or Field Artillery (FA) weapon systems.

The primary purpose of this senior position is guiding and managing the daily efforts of a 20-person team to protect Fires portfolio weapon systems and Soldiers from CEMA threats. A major focus of this effort is to help create a more realistic training environment for soldiers operating Air and Missile Defense and Field Artillery weapon systems in the presence of current and emerging Cyber Electro-Magnetic Activities (CEMA) threats and effects. The solutions portfolio includes: intelligence, lessons learned, and TSOP/TTP assessments; CEMA training for Fires Soldiers; promoting development of CEMA TTP’s; and, facilitating a technical path to integrating innovative new CEMA-related advanced technology solutions into ADA and FA weapon systems and training devices.

This position requires: excellent communication skills and flexibility; establishing positive relationships and engaging in professional daily interaction with various government customers, key Fires stakeholders, community principals, local teammates; and close coordination with project and technical managers in Huntsville, Alabama. Some occasional travel will be needed.

Basic Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree from an accredited institute is required. Advanced degree strongly desired (e.g., MS, MBA, etc.), with a minimum of 20 years of proven military operational leadership and management work history.
  • Program and Project Management certifications and prior PM work history is needed.
  • A minimum of 10-years of relevant work with weapon systems and/or training devices and environments (TADSS), particularly ADA and FA systems and their associated radars, C2, comms, and weapons/engagement systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cyber Electromagnetic Activity (CEMA) threats and effects in complex, realistic operational environments.
  • In-depth knowledge in the Army’s Counter-small UAS portfolio efforts, and countering CEMA threats to the C s-UAS mission
  • Working knowledge of cyber physical systems and/or embedded systems, including real-time operating systems.
  • A high level of professionalism, including excellent communication skills with a diverse variety of government customers, senior Fires management, AFC CFT Directors, and local and state community members.
  • Ability to direct, manage, and grow project teams comprised of CEMA weapon system training and technical experts.

Candidate must be a resident of the Lawton OK area or be willing to relocate to the Lawton OK area.

Other Qualifications

  • Specialized training and/or certification(s) in network defense, penetration testing, cyber resilience, etc. are a huge plus.
  • Past work with the U.S. Army Fires Center of Excellence (DOTD and CDID), the Air Defense or Field Artillery School, the AFC AMD and LRPF CFT’s, and TCM’s/ACM’s

Security Requirements

U.S. Citizenship and a current Final Secret Clearance is required with the ability to meet applicable program security eligibility requirements for the position. Must be able to maintain a Final Secret Clearance along with meeting and maintaining program security eligibility.
