The Strategic Programs office of Dynetics Technical Solutions, Inc. (DTS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Dynetics, Inc., is seeking a qualified Actuator Test Stand (ATS) SME for its hypersonics line of business. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics Technical Solutions provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions. The selected candidate will support the Common Hypersonic Glide Body program (C-HGB). The C-HGB is the Army’s #1 priority for strategic weapons capability for long-range precision fires and will counter and gain a lead on our adversaries' technological advances in this field, come join us in this exciting, cutting-edge field.
The successful candidate will serve as a Actuator Test Stand SME that will handle all aspects of our Actuator Test Stand used in the production of Hypersonic Glide Bodies (HGB). Knowledge of electrical systems with emphasis on MAT-LAB, cabling, drawings, production methods, and test methods. Specific duties will include review of HGB system documentation to assess testing requirements, review existing ATS drawings for correctness, quality, documentation, and testing during AI&T production process, and assist with Technical Data Package documentation of the ATS. In addition, the candidate will need to write/issue Non-Conformance Reports and address quality issues with the cable manufacturer. Work will be conducted in an integration/production facility along with a laboratory environment.
Basic Qualifications:
Candidate should have at least 2+ years of relevant experience with ATS and other test equipment, and/or Electrical Technician/Designer employment.
The following skills/abilities are desired:
· Knowledge of analog, digital, and power circuits and cables
· Knowledge of MAT-LAB
· Knowledge of basic drawing standards
· Knowledge of test documentation
· Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting
· Organizational skills to document designs, assist with Technical Data Packages (TDP) and support production and test of ATS
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
The ideal candidate would have experience in electronics/avionics/environmental testing and have a current DoD Secret clearance.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
