Position Description

Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Program Manager to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

RF and EW Threat Systems Development Department has a diverse portfolio of projects and programs which specialize in foreign threat radar systems, RF software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) simulators, and open air radar development.

The Program Manager will manage overall program performance including cost, schedule, technical and risk., ensuring quality and adherence to contractual requirements for all deliverables. The ideal candidate will have experience running firm fixed price projects / programs as well as a strong background in risk and configuration management. The Program Manager must possess superior analytical and problem-solving skills, operate independently with limited supervision and feedback, be strong team player, and have the ability to establish solid working relationships with technical staff members and peers within the department well as with our external Government customers. Experience in EW, radar systems, system integration; and/or test and evaluation is desired. Frequent interaction with the customer through in-process reviews and customer visits is required. The candidate must be a proactive, self-starter with significant technical leadership experience and excellent communication skills.

Basic Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in business management, electrical or computer engineering or a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience or a master’s degree with 3+ years of prior relevant experience is required.
  • Experience in all facets of program management.
  • Experience in implementing risk and engineering change management.
  • Possess a demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, adapt quickly to changing requirements, and work independently and on a team.
  • Ability to effectively communicate processes and procedures to program employees, partner organizations, and customers.
  • Self-starter that can establish priorities, resolve immediate issues, and coordinate with customer or program management on complex problems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships with team members and customers.

Candidate will live in Huntsville or be willing to relocate to Huntsville Alabama area



Other Qualifications

Familiarity with Earned Value Management is preferred but not required.

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
