Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Sr. Systems Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. The position will perform systems engineering tasks in a dynamic environment to develop a variety of products in support of DoD, NASA, and commercial programs. Candidate will work closely with customers and design teams to develop products following the systems engineering lifecycle. Candidate will be responsible for defining requirements, supporting the system architecture definition & design development, and the validation & integration for hardware/software products.
Candidate will collaborate across multiple disciplines to include mechanical, electrical, software, modeling, simulation, safety, and reliability to identify applicable requirements and then ensure the requirements are met while avoiding requirements creep.IND1
Position requires a Bachelor's Degree from an ABET accredited school in Systems Engineering or related technical field AND a minimum 5-15 years general engineering experience with at least 3 years of direct systems engineering experience performing requirements management.
Candidate must be familiar with the DoD acquisition life cycle.
Applicant must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of requirements development experience using a requirements management database tool (DOORS, Visure, etc.) or Model Based Systems Engineering tools (MagicDraw, Rhapsody, or Enterprise Architect).
Candidate must be a US Citizen.
Possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
