Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Systems Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. The position will perform systems engineering tasks in a dynamic environment to develop a variety of products in support of DoD, NASA, and commercial programs. Candidate will work closely with customers and design teams to develop products following the systems engineering lifecycle. Candidate will be responsible for defining requirements, supporting the system architecture definition & design development, and the validation & integration for hardware/software products.
Candidate will collaborate across multiple disciplines to include mechanical, electrical, software, modeling, simulation, safety, and reliability to identify applicable requirements and then ensure the requirements are met while avoiding requirements creep.IND2
Position requires a Bachelor's Degree from an ABET-accredited university in Systems engineering or related technical field (GPA > 3.25) with a minimum 2-5 years general engineering experience OR a Bachelor's Degree from an ABET-accredited university in Systems engineering or related technical field (GPA > 3.25) with at least 1 year of direct systems engineering experience.
Candidate must be familiar with the DoD acquisition life cycle.
Applicant must be proficient in MS Office tools and have demonstrated experience effectively communicating in a team environment.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of requirements development experience using a requirements management database tool (DOORS, Visure, etc.).
Experience supporting DoD or NASA programs a plus.
Candidate must be a US Citizen.
Possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
