Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Radar Cross Section (RCS) model analyst/developer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. The ideal candidate will have RCS model development and analysis experience. Experience with radio frequency (RF) static range measurements, RF defense radar systems, RCS predictions, computed-aided design (CAD) models, and digital signal processing (DSP) are also desired.
Candidates may support software development, target model development, missile/aircraft/ground vehicle RCS signature predictions, and data analysis. Specific roles may include providing feedback and input on improving RF target model fidelity, modifying RCS signatures to meet customer needs/requirements, and processing measurement results to validate component models. A strong technical background (engineering, math, or physics) and a strong background in programming (MatLab, Python, C, or similar) are desired. The position will include collaboration within a team environment while emphasizing individual contributions to produce products that are valuable to the customer.IND3
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited university in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Math, or Physics.
Candidate expected to have 2-10 years technical experience. For junior candidates without sufficient mitigating work experience, preference will be given to those with GPAs higher than 3.4.
Candidate expected to possess experience with Unix/Linux OS, to be familiar with RCS prediction tools (Xpatch, SAF, etc.), and to have some knowledge of standard RCS file formats (N-point, APSM, 3DSC, etc.).
Candidate must be a US citizen, and must be a resident of the Huntsville, AL area or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.
A Master’s degree in any of the aforementioned disciplines is a plus. Experience with Unix/Linux would be relevant as well.
Familiarity with CAD tools for developing RF signature models (SolidWorks, CREO, NX, ModelMan, Rhino, Cubit, etc.) are also desirable.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
