Position Description

Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Integrated Circuit Analysis Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the U.S. engaging in the intelligence, missiles, aviation, space, and cyber fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering and scientific solutions.

Responsibilities associated with the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Analysis and functional evaluation of integrated circuits (ICs) at the die level.
  • Developing new solutions for information retrieval from devices with anti-tamper and/or read-protection features.
  • Collaborating in a team environment to implement test solutions.
  • Estimating analysis and test setup development costs.

 

Basic Qualifications

Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline from an ABET-accredited university with at least a 3.5 GPA.

Candidate must have education or work experience designing and verifying IC hardware.

Candidate must have experience with compilation/synthesis and simulation tools for microcontroller ICs and FPGAs, including programming in languages such as assembly, C, and Verilog or VHDL.

Candidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.

Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

 

Other Qualifications

Ability to apply technical principles developing test procedures and hardware setups.

The following experience is desirable:

  • Operation of IC failure analysis tools including focused ion beam (FIB), scanning electron microscope (SEM), and probe station.
  • Operation of optical microscope equipment.
  • Experience decapsulating ICs.
  • Experience grinding/polishing IC dies.
  • Operation of image stitching software.

 

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen.

Possess and be able to maintain) a Final Top Secret/SSBI Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Final Top Secret Clearance.
