The Engineer or Analyst in this role will support Radar and Missile Technology programs including modeling, simulation, and analysis of surveillance and fire control radars and air defense missiles.
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Math, or Applied Physics from an ABET-accredited university with a minimum of five (5) years of Radar or Missile Technology experience.
Experience must include one or more of the following areas: modeling and simulation, radar/weapons systems analysis, algorithm development, and field testing support.
Modeling experience includes modeling of radar functions, threats, timeline, weapon system, clutter, etc.
Radar/weapons systems analysis experience includes probability of detection, waveform analysis, probability of intercept, defended area, etc.
Algorithm development experience includes detection processes, waveform selection, signal processing, clutter, adaptive beamforming, combat identification, etc.
Experience in multiple areas is preferred. Candidate must have good people skills and the desire to work with a highly technical team of engineers and scientists.
Experience in supporting the US Army AMRDEC is a plus.
Experience with MATLAB and/or Python is also a plus.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Top Secret Clearance.
