Dynetics is seeking a GUI and Data Model software developer interested in developing a new graphical user interface tool to generate data for a modeling and simulation application. This position includes software design, coding, and unit testing. The software developer will be working with a small, highly technical team of software developers in designing, developing and maintaining the data generation tool, along with other mission tools and a real-time modeling and simulation application. The software developer will following processes that meet the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) model maturity level 3.

The team consists of highly skilled professionals that have strong fundamental skills, exercise best practices, conduct peer reviews, and exceeds customer expectations.
Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree from an ABET accredited school with a minimum of 3+ years of applicable experience
Candidate must have software development experience and demonstrate knowledge of C#, as well as data structures, object-oriented design, and effective unit testing.
Candidate should be self-disciplined with good people skills, writing skills, attention to detail, and strong technical interests/capabilities.
This position requires periodic communication with the customer and possible travel to the customer location.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Knowledge and experience using Windows Presentation Foundation(WPF) and Model-View ViewModel (MVVM) design pattern is preferred.
Knowledge and experience in Linux, C++, Qt, Microsoft Visual Studio, CMMI, JIRA, Subversion, or InstallShield are considered a plus.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
