Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Propulsion Test Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. The selected candidate will serve as a Test Engineer focused on design and test of a fluid and mechanical systems. The individual will develop schematics and test facility layouts, create test procedures, conduct tests, and lead test data analysis and completion of requirements verification and validation documentation and reports. The individual will also interface with department leadership and project engineers/managers, mechanical designers, component engineers, other test engineers, safety, and quality with Dynetics.IND2
Candidate must posses a B.S. or equivalent degree in engineering (preferably aerospace or mechanical) from an ABET-accredited university with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
Candidate must have at least three (3) years of space hardware related experience.
Candidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.
The position requires 10% travel for critical program assembly, integration, and test activities.
Candidates must have direct, hands-on experience with space component and/or subsystem testing, including:
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Preference shown to candidates who possess an Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering Degree with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Candidates with advanced degree(s) in engineering or a related academic fields and with additional experience are preferred.
Additional experience with thermal, fluid, and mechanical systems engineering and analysis of other space systems is preferred
Experience with LabView data acquisition systems operation and MATLAB is preferred.
Candidate must be a US Citizen.
Possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
