Position Description

With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

Dynetics is seeking talented individuals to serve in an Analysis Role in support of a diverse team developing models and simulations as part of the Missile Defense Agency’s Radar Test Contract in Colorado Springs. The engineer/scientist in this role will use radar requirements, software development skills and modeling expertise to analyze both real time and non-real time closed loop radar models.

Basic Qualifications

Candidate must possess a Bachelor's (or Master's) Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics or related STEM Discipline.

Candidate must have a minimum of 3+ years of applicable experience and a current active Interim Security clearance.

  1. Familiarity with distributed computing systems and/or real-time computing/messaging systems.
  2. Familiarity with UNIX, and/or Linux operating systems.
  3. Familiarity with C++, JAVA, Matlab.
  4. Experience with Software Baseline Control Management processes/procedures.

Ability to work at a government facility within a multi-contractor team environment.

Strong verbal/written communication skills.

Positive attitude and willingness to own problems through to resolution.

Candidate must be a resident of the Colorado Springs area or willing to relocate to the Colorado Spring, CO area.

Other Qualifications

Desired Qualifiations:

Top Secret Clearance

Past experience with MDIOC

Past experience with OSM/OSI or DSA-P

Missile Defense domain knowledge

Experience working in Agile Framework

Experience in complex system assessment/analysis; with exceptional attention to detail.

Knowledge of system architectures, networks, and operations.

Experience in engineering M&S systems using an optimistic discrete event simulation platform .

Experience with risk management, issue resolution, problem solving and customer service.

 

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
