Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Data Analyst to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems related to Test and Evaluation of Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE). With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
Candidate must be capable of analyzing various forms of data and developing required software to perform the analysis. Candidate will work closely with system engineers, test engineers, and government customers and lead activities associated with data reduction and analysis of laboratory and field test data collected during captive flight, free flight, guided weapons evaluation, and other ASE specific test activities.IND3
Candidate must have a BS in Engineering, Physics, Math, or related field with 3-7 years of data analysis experience.
Candidate will work with senior data analysts, system engineers, and test engineers to understand and identify critical issues and data reduction and analysis requirements, perform pre-test analysis, perform on-site quick-look analysis, execute data management plans, perform post-test comparative analysis and develop data analysis reports.
Candidate must have good technical skills to understand the technologies being tested, have good leadership and communication skills, and have good computer and analytical skills for performing data reduction and analysis.
A demonstrated understanding of statistics and experience utilizing statistics to perform data anlysis is required.
Candidate must be willing to travel frequently and work overtime occasionally as required.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Experience analyzing field test data using MATLAB is preferred.
Understanding the Defense Acquisition System and formal Test and Evaluation processes would be a plus.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
