Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Journeyman Aircraft Survivability Test Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems related to Test and Evaluation of Aircraft Survivability Equipment. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
Candidate will assist with test planning, scheduling, and logistics and will be required to support on-site test activities according to customer driven requirements and schedules.Candidate will work closely with engineers, customers, and service personnel while participating in activities associated with planning and execution of laboratory and field tests such as captive flight, free flight, guided weapons evaluation, and other ASE specific test activities.IND3
Candidate must have a BS in Engineering or related field with a minimum of 3+ years of applicable test experience with a desire to plan and conduct field and laboratory tests.
Candidate must desire to learn the Defense Acquisition System (DAS) and must be capable of working on a diverse team that requires interacting with multiple agencies in support of test activities.
Candidate will work assist Senior ASE test engineers to understand and identify critical issues and data requirements for test activities and assist with test planning, execution, and data analysis.
Candidate must have good technical skills to understand the technologies being tested and a desire to learn and grow both technically and as a leader.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Experience with DAS related testing such as Developmental Testing (DT), operational testing (OT), and Initial Operational Test and Evaluation (IOT&E) is desired.
Test experience with US aircraft, aircraft survivability equipment, and/or threat missiles would be a plus.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
