Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Computational Fluid Dynamics Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. A successful candidate will work closely with a highly technical, multidisciplinary team to design, develop, test, characterize, and support the application of micro- and nano- scale systems and advanced materials fabrication.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: utilization of numerical models which include representations of multiple, coupled physics; modeling performance of microfluidic devices; studying processing factors; and optimization of manufacturing systems, methods, and processes for the development of a variety of advanced materials.
The responsibilities of this position include: determining appropriate tool and model fidelity for addressing a technical problem, creating the necessary model and mesh, conducting analysis (solver) runs, documenting analysis results, and communicating analysis results and their implications to the internal development team and customer stakeholders.IND3
Possess a Master's Degree from an ABET accredited school in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or a related field with at least 2 years of experience (5+ years preferred) in engineering with an emphasis in FVM or FEM numerical analysis will be considered, .
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
In addition to the basic qualifications, these other attributes will be assessed favorably:
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Top Secret/SSBI Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Final Top Secret Clearance.
