(DTS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dynetics, Inc., is seeking a talented Non Destructive Test Technician to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. Dynetics Technical Solutions seeks qualified candidates to Perform RT, MT & PT examinations on manufactured and procured product, Perform NDE system self-audits, Evaluate new jobs and programs and assist in technique development, Perform standard visual and dimensional inspections on product, when applicable. Candidate must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints and technical instructions in accordance with engineering data.
High school diploma or equivalent required with a minimum of three years, experience in NDE of aerospace hardware. Other experience in other industry sectors will be considered
-Visual acuity of 20/30 minimum required, corrected or uncorrected.
-Candidate must have a minimum of an ASNT SNT-TC-1A level II certification in Radiography, Magnetic Particle and Dye Penetrant with the ability to be certified in each method in accordance with NAS 410 (Objective evidence required)
-Successful completion of the Level II examinations for RT, MT & PT in accordance with NAS 410, SNT-TC-1A & CP-189, upon employment
-Must have the required 80 hours of classroom training IAW NAS 410 (40 hrs. For level I and another 40 hrs. for level II RT)
-Digital X-ray experience is a must.
-Must have tubehead experience
-Must have a current state card, reciprocal state or IRRSP. Minimum X-ray only.
-Documentation of the above items should be available and provided
The candidate must be able to lift and carry up to 40-lbs.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Candidate must pass a DOT physical to drive company vehicles as needed.
GE Rhythm software experience desired
Applicant must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
The candidate must be self-motivated, work well in a team environment, and have good written and oral communication skills.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
