Dynetics is seeking a qualified Product Owner candidate to join the MASC-F program. The MASC-F program will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in performing Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Modeling & Simulation (M&S) and its intended uses. This position will act as the Product Owner for an agile team in developing the Objective System Framework (OSF).
In this position the Product Owner plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met.
The Product Owner will be working in an Agile development environment and will be responsible for supporting elements of the design/sustainment/development efforts. The candidate can expect to work closely in Agile teams. The candidate should be a self-starter that is attentive to details and works well in a multi-disciplined teaming environment.IND2
Possess a Bachelor’s degree from an from an ABET-accredited university in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education.

Candidates must have demonstrated experience with Eclipse or other IDEs (Intellij, Netbeans, Visual Studio).
Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of Object Oriented (OO) Design & Development.
Candidates must have demonstrated experience using with Linux/Unix commands and environment.
Candidates must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.
Candidates must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Candidates should have a basic understanding of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) and Ballistic Missile Defense Systems (BMDS).
Preference shown to candidates who have experience and/or working knowledge with:
Candidate must be a US Citizen.
Possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
