Avionics Product team is seeking a skilled Electronics technician to support the production of airborne electronic systems. This includes independent setup, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, assemblies or integrated systems. The position will require consistent exercise of discretion and judgement in work performance, as well as working closely with other engineers in a team environment. Candidates should have some experience reviewing and understanding schematics and circuit designs and the use of basic electronics test equipment.
The candidiate for this position should have experieince with electronics assembly and mechanical integration. The technician should have familiarity with telemetry and range instrumentation systems. prior experience with GPS TSPI systems is desired. The ability to develop validation test plans and perform testing of electronics circuit card assemblies is required. The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive experience in troubleshooting and repair of electronics circuit cards.IND3
This position will require at least a high school diploma and 10+ years experience in electrical/electronics assembly, test, or troubleshooting.
Must be able to understand and interpret electrical schematics.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama area.
Soldering certification is a plus
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Top Secret/SSBI Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Final Top Secret Clearance.
