Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Deputy Proposal Support Center Manager to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
Candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of proposal development to include processes, procedures, tools and proposal development. The Deputy Proposal Center Manager will facilitate proposal development throughout the proposal lifecycle to include pre-proposal support during the market research, qualification, and capture phases.
Specific responsibilities will include analyzing customer markets for future procurements, creating capabilities briefings, analyzing RFPs/RFIs, generating outlines and storyboards, ensuring compliance with RFPs/RFIs, coordinating review teams, maintaining configuration control over proposals, developing tools to manage re-use materials, maintaining a past performance database, documenting processes, providing training/facilitation for proposal managers editors, graphic artists and documents integrators, and serving as Proposal Manager on occasions.
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Busineess or related field and at least 20+ years working defense projects and 10+ years’ experience in proposal development/management for federal government procurements.
Recent experience (within last 5 years) in a federal procurement environment establishing and managing full lifecycle proposal development processes, procedures and tools is required.
Must have experience managing an organization that supports proposal development.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Experience providing market research to identify customer organizations and upcoming procurements that match Dynetics corporate capabilities and strategic interests desired.
Strong verbal and written skill with ability to emphasize customer service is highly desired.
Familiarity with the Business Development lifecycle and associated qualification reviews is preferred.
Hardware proposal experience is a plus
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
