Position Description

Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Digital Design Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

Dynetics is looking for a Digital Design Engineer to develop hardware for implementation within a real-time hardware-in-the-loop DoD simulator for testing guided munitions. Candidates should have experience and interest in complex system designs, board-level digital circuit design as well as embedded firmware development.

Day to day work duties will include component research and selection, schematic and printed circuit board design, FPGA firmware development, board level testing and debugging, and other electronic design tasks.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.

Candidate must have at least 4 years of relevant experience.

Candidates must have experience in the design, operation and debugging of complex digital systems.

Candidate must be a resident of the Fort Walton Beach, FL Area or willing to relocate to the Fort Walton Beach, FL Area.

 

Other Qualifications

High Speed Digital System Design experience considered a plus in the areas of:

  • DSP or Embedded Microprocessor design
  • Analog, ADC, DAC and mixed signal design
  • Embedded FPGA designs including HDL programming
  • Schematic Capture/ PCB Layout tools such as ALTIUM Designer
  • ALTERA (Intel) or XILINX FPGA Development Tools

 

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen.

Possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
