Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Senior Systems Architect to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. This position will engage in systems architecture design, development, and documentation in support of future sensor systems.
The candidate will analyze technical specifications, doctrinal and operations information, and bring this consolidated technical and operational understanding to the development of the architecture.
The candidate will utilize this understanding in development of formal DoDAF architecture views, and related architectural deliverables. candidate will utilize a modeling tool to create, maintain, and configuration manage the architecture. candidate will ensure that architecture is compatible and in compliance with standards designated by the government customer.
Candidate must be motivated and capable of coordinating with customers and leading team, and take pride in delivering a high-quality product. Must be comfortable learning and researching in order to make sense of broad specifications and new requirements.
Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Information Systems, or equivalent degree from an ABET accredited university.
Candidate must have 10+ years of relevant work experience, and 3-5 years of experience working with system architecture and systems engineering.
Candidate must have strong experience in SysML / UML modeling and associated tools.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
