Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Senior Aircraft Survivability Data Analyst to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems related to Test and Evaluation of Aircraft Survivability Equipment. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
Candidate will participate in test planning, scheduling, and logistics from the perspective of a data analyst and will be required to support on-site test activities according to customer driven requirements and schedules. On-site test activities will include data storage, data reduction, and quick-look analysis to ensure data collected is sufficient to support the required analysis. Post-test event analysis duties will include detailed analysis of test results.IND3
Candidate must have a BS in Engineering or related field with desired 20+ or more years of data analysis experience with a significant portion of this experience associated with evaluation of military systems through testing.
Candidate must have a working knowledge of the Defense Acquisition System (DAS) and Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) and must be capable of leading a data analyst team, conducting meetings, and interacting with other agencies to ensure data analysis objectives are understood and requirements met.
Candidate will work closely with system engineers, test engineers, and customers and lead activities associated with data reduction and analysis of laboratory and field test data collected during captive flight, free flight, guided weapons evaluation, and other ASE specific test activities.
Candidate must be able to work with system engineers and test engineers to understand and identify critical issues and data reduction and analysis requirements, perform pre-test analysis, perform on-site quick-look analysis, and execute data management plans, perform post-test comparative analysis and develop data analysis reports.
Candidate must have strong technical skills to understand the technologies being tested, have good leadership and communication skills, and have exemplary computer and analytical skills for performing data reduction and analysis.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Working experience with software development and MATLAB specifically for data reduction and analysis are strongly desired.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
