The FPGA and Microcontroller Reverse Engineer will join our multidisciplinary team of engineers to solve technically challenging problems with innovative, cost-effective solutions in support of foreign weapon reverse engineering. This challenging position will allow for the opportunity to contribute immediately to important, meaningful work while working directly with a diverse team of experienced engineers.

This work includes developing custom hardware techniques, as well as custom software to aid and automate the reverse-engineering of various types of software and firmware binaries. This position will have responsibility for the characterization and vulnerability analysis of software and firmware embedded within missile and radar systems.IND2
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineer, Computer Engineering or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university with a 3.5 or higher GPA.
Candidate must have education and/or work experience in FPGA or ASIC design and verification.
Candidate must demonstrated experience with hardware description languages including Verilog or VHDL.
Candidate must have education or work experience in embedded software design.
Candidate must have experience with FPGA or ASIC synthesis and simulation tools.
Candidate must demonstrate an understanding of various FPGA and computer architectures.
Candidate must have demonstrated experience using C++/C and assembly languages.
Candidate must have knowledge of developing test procedures and hardware instrumentation.
The position requires candidates to be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.
Candidates must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Preference shown to candidates who possess a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineer, Computer Engineering or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.
