Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking talented Contract Administrator to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. The experienced Contract Administrator will join a team supporting multiple Divisions, Product Groups and Subsidiaries within our Corporation. The Contracts Department works closely with both external and internal customers including internal leadership, engineering staff and other support organizations to successfully navigate the firm through all stages of the acquisition process. The candidate in this role will be responsible for administering various types of Government and Commercial contracts and subcontracts to include FFP, T&M, CPFF, CPAF, CPIF and IDIQ task ordering efforts.
Individual will be involved in proposal preparation to include the review and negotiation of RFP terms and conditions, review of some pricing and associated documentation and the preparation of transmittal documents. Candidate will also be responsible for analyzing significant, and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions and terms and conditions to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and corporate policies.
The candidate will monitor the company's performance on those contracts and subcontracts assigned to them
– as well as others assigned to them on a continual basis
– to ensure conformance to the original proposal and contractual terms and conditions.
In addition to contract administration, the candidate will participate in contract kick-off meetings and will advise stakeholders of contractual requirements.
Finally, the candidate will be responsible for data entry into a contract management system for the purposes of project setup and establishment of budgets, as well as for performing contract closeouts.
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in a related business discipline and must have between 2 and 5 years' direct experience administering federal and commercial contracts or subcontracts for the DoD, prime contractors and commercial contractors in a corporate environment.
This experience should include the review of solicitations, terms and conditions and special provisions, as well as preparing proposals in response to government/prime/commercial RFP requirements.
The collaborative nature of the position will require a candidate to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong business acumen and high ethical standards.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products and working knowledge of the Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) is required.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Experience with Deltek CostPoint, and SharePoint is preferred.
Candidate must be highly motivated and organized, customer-service oriented and must have the ability to handle a fluctuating workload and manage multiple simultaneous priorities.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
