Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Subcontract Proposal Analyst to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The Subcontracts Proposal Analyst functions as the primary Point of Contact (POC) to interface with the proposal team and is responsible for ensuring that Subcontractors receive necessary RFP documents. The role will involve coordination and development of subcontracts RFP documentation, ensuring RFP compliance. The Subcontracts Proposal Analyst will facilitating binding and non-binding, contractual and/or administrative communication between Dynetics and the subcontractor during the proposal phase. The position is responsible for updating proposal status in related databases and tools.
Candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, business or related field and a GPA >3.0 with 0 to 5 years of experience working in proposal development.
Strong computer skills – specifically a good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS work and Adobe Acrobat – are required.
Familiarity with a variety of technology industry concepts, practices, and procedures as well as experience in preparing proposals for Federal Government customers is preferred.
Candidate should possess the following traits and abilities: Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills; ability to prioritize and meet time sensitive deadlines; excellent communication skills, both with external customers and internal staff.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to identify and process business and legal proposal issues; ability to read and understand requests for quotes, invitations to bid, and requests for proposals.
Basic knowledge of contracting concepts and familiarity with Federal procurement process and regulations (such as FAR, DFAR, NFS) and the ability to draft proposal documents in accordance with RFP instructions and/or using preexisting templates and guidelines is preferred.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
