Position Description

Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Munition Assembly Facility Operations Manager to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

The Munition Assembly Facility Operations Manager will provide oversight and management of all activities at an assembly facility located in McEwen TN. Candidate will work closely with the program management and production team in Huntsville AL, as well as the facility lease holder to complete the final assembly of a DoD munition. Detailed coordination with government oversight organizations will also be required. Inventory of materials, to include explosives, will be managed and safely handled from their receipt through assembly to final delivery to the customer. Candidate will be responsible for safe operations at the facility, some production quality oversight roles, and the inventory logistics.

Basic Qualifications

Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in an administrative, logistics, or technical discipline.

Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in safely handling ammunition or explosives and a minimum of 5 years leading the administration of a facility or operation.

In lieu of a degree, 15 years of experience may be substituted for the 10 years of experience requirement.

Candidate must have demonstrated experience in quality management, inventory logistics and coordination with Government oversight organizations.

Candidate must be a resident of the mid-west area of Tennessee or willing to relocate to the McEwen or mid-west Tennessee area.

Other Qualifications

20 years of experience in safely handling ammunition or explosives and a minimum of 10 years leading the administration of a facility or operation is preferred.

Experience in transportation logistics, especially for explosives, from suppliers as well as to the government customers is preferred.

Experience in government contracting environment is preferred.

Candidates should have good organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to handle stress, ability to perform and self-manage at a remote site and work well in a team environment.

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
