Dynetics Technical Solutions seeks a Project Lead to support the manufacturing management project team responsible for producing prototype and low-volume production hardware for the aerospace and defense industries. The responsibilities for this position will include budget management, compiling project status reports, coordinating project schedules, engaging in program meetings, and identifying and resolving project issues as they arise. Other responsibilities may include coordinating project activities and ensuring all project phases are documented appropriately, coordinating and leading proposal efforts, as well as other duties as assigned.IND3
BS degree and 3+ years’ experience
H.S. Diploma and 10+ years’ experience in managing manufacturing projects is required.
Must have experience in a production machining and assembly environment.
Candidate must have experience in the following areas:
- Cost projection/estimating
- Budget management
- Schedule management
Basic to Intermediate computer skills; specifically using Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn additional computer skills or software programs. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Project is preferred.
Candidate will be required to routinely interact with external stakeholders such as customers, vendors, suppliers, shipping companies, etc., and must represent the company’s in a professional manner at all times.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Must have demonstrated ability to follow prescribed procedures and to manage time to meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
Must possess effective oral and written communication skills to clearly communicate information to others.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Candidate must have interpersonal skills to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff.
Candidate must have strong problem solving skills; ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations for problem resolution
Experience using Costpoint, Agile PLM, and Epicor ERP is a plus.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
