Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Journeyman Test Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems related to Test and Evaluation of Aircraft Survivability Equipment. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
This position focuses on planning and executing test activities following the Defense Acquisition System (DAS) process to support milestone decisions for product development. Travel will be part of the rhythm of this position along with the opportunity to contribute to the development of systems to project Army aircraft and pilots.
The candidate will help lead and facilitate test planning, scheduling, logistics and execution and will be required to support on-site test activities according to customer driven requirements and schedules. Must be familiar with the DAS processes and must be capable of working on a team and interacting with other agencies to ensure test objectives are understood and requirements met. Work closely and coordinate efforts with and between system engineers, customers, and service personnel. Participate in activities associated with planning and execution of both laboratory and field test activities to include captive flight, free flight, guided weapons evaluation, and other ASE specific test activities.IND3
Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited college in Engineering or related technical discipline.
Candidate should be able to demonstrate the following capabilities and/or experience:
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
- Experience testing ASE specific products would be prefered.
- Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE) is desired.
- Experience testing Radar and infrared systems is desired.
- Experience at various DoD test ranges such as Dugway, Eglin, White Sands, and others would be a plus.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
