Dynetics Technical Solutions, Inc. (DTS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Dynetics, Inc. The Strategic Programs office is seeking a qualified Test Equipment Technician Lead for its hypersonics line of business. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics Technical Solutions provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The candidate will be responsible for leading technicians in the fabrication, operation and maintenance of electronic and mechanical test equipment. Test equipment will consist of PC based electronic hardware designed to test various electrical and mechanical aspects of Hypersonic Glide Bodies (HGB). The candidate will need to oversee team members in the fabrication/assembly of electronic chassis and mechanical fixtures in support of HGB test and production.
The candidate will work with design engineers to understand the design of the test sets and convey that to the technician team while overseeing the build, verify build accuracy and quality, and assign/oversee tasks such as troubleshooting of circuit boards, electrical interfaces (both analog and digital), and mechanical aspects of the test sets.IND3
An associate’s degree in a relevant electrical or mechanical field is required. Candidate should have at least 7+ years of relevant experience.
In lieu of an associate’s degree, the candidate should have 10+ years of directly applicable experience with a High School diploma or GED and the following skills/abilities:
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
The ideal candidate would have 10+ years of experience in electronics/avionics/environmental testing and have a current DoD Secret clearance.
Strong leadership skills, strong collaboration skills to work with cross functional team members, experience executing and leading test efforts, experience working in a highly deadline-driven environment, experience documenting test efforts and reporting out to the team, passion for leading and motivating others and strong initiative.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
