Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Analyst to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. The Systems Engineering Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Analyst will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Project Office team to develop, decompose, and analyze requirements and evaluate the performance of the tactical code in support of Army AMD missions. The position will include performance evaluation and optimization of existing requirements and algorithms in the tactical, net-centric AMD environment. The position will require the ability to read tactical code on an as needed basis for analysis. The position may include reviewing, analyzing and contributing to the IAMD system model. The position may include providing guidance to developers; supporting integration and test events; and supporting final verification and validation of design veracity. The position will require technical briefings to leadership on recommended courses of action, trade studies, system design, performance and impacts to the mission.IND3
The candidate must be familiar with AMD concepts with specific system engineering knowledge and experience with one (1) or more of the following systems: IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS.
The candidate must have experience in requirements development, analysis, performance analysis and verification in two (2) or more of the following AMD areas: track management, threat evaluation, engagement processing, IFF, CCDTI, counter ARM, jammers and jam strobe processing, Non-Cooperative Target Recognition, geodetic registration, automatic emplacement, defense plan evaluation and optimization, sensor coverage evaluation and optimization, tactical distributed systems, engagement resource management, or force operations.
The candidate must be experienced analyzing and decomposing requirements, experienced with performance analysis for real-time weapon systems, fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset, proficient navigating and extracting data from requirements databases and modeling tools, and proficient with at least one scripting or programming tool to assist in requirements and performance analysis tasks.
Candidate must have a four-year Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences or mathematics, must have a minimum of 5 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above, and must be “hands on” in addition to being a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
