Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Project / Systems Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. The Project / Systems Engineer will support our Product Engineering Team through design and/or project engineering of highly complex electronics for various DoD, Intelligence and Commercial customers. This position will support and lead projects involving electronics hardware, firmware, and software design for military applications. Candidate will work with the customer and engineering team to define system requirements, architecture, and program plans. Candidate will need the ability to work programmatic questions with the customer and resolve technical uncertainty to keep the development effort on task. A suitable candidate for this role will be able to understand customer intent and lead our engineering team in development of the optimal engineering solution, using system engineering practices.
As part of this position, candidate will coordinate activities in diverse technology areas including analog/digital circuits, RF, optics, software, firmware, programmable logic, embedded systems, thermal management, design for manufacturability, test, and MIL-STD environments. Project environments at times are fast paced and quickly changing due to a variety of influences. The successful candidate will help ensure that the efforts of the Dynetics engineering team are well communicated and harmonized with the customer project team’s requirements and needs.IND2
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's of Science in an Engineering field or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.
Candidate must have project management experience with projects containing electronic or electromechanical systems.
Candidate must have 5 years of experience demonstrating a strong technical background in one or more of the following areas:
The position requires candidates to be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.
Candidates must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment and have experience mentoring & guiding team members.
Candidates must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Preference shown to candidates who possess a Master's Degree in an Engineering field or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.
