Dynetics Technical Solutions (DTS) a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dynetics, Inc., is seeking a talented Laser Tracker Programmer-Operator to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics Technical Solutions provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
Successful candidate will be responsible for verifying machined and assembled hardware meet specified drawing/CAD model requirements using Laser Trackers and Romer Arm. Other duties may include performing calibration of standard inspection equipment, and setting up and measuring parts using standard measuring equipment. Applicant must be able to work in a fast-paced R&D environment with minimal supervision.IND2
Candidates must possess a High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
Candidate must have at least 3+ years of Laser Tracker and inspection experience.
Candidate must have experience with inspecting large structures to precise tolerances using Leica Laser Tracker or Faro Laser Tracker.
Candidate must be proficient with micrometers, height gages, gage blocks, radius gages, and calipers
Candidate must be able to read and interpret drawings, 3-D solid models, and specifications and prepare hand written or computer generated inspection reports
Candidate must be able to work a 4-days per week, 10-hours per shift work schedule (4/10 Plan).
Candidate must be to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
