Position Description

Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Mobile & Peripheral Equipment Operator to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

The Peripheral Equipment Operator will provide support maintaining, troubleshooting, and providing user support of mobile devices and peripheral equipment such as printers, disk units, etc. Operator will also provide assistance to the field services technical staff in performing moves, adds, and changes.

Activities include:

  • Setup and configuration of peripheral & mobile devices
  • Troubleshooting peripheral and mobile device incidents
  • Performing routine support (monitoring & maintenance) of peripherals e.g., printer adjustments, observing panel lights for warnings and error indications and taking appropriate action
  • Assist users in data transfers to new devices
  • Examines peripherals or other material for creases, tears or other defects that could cause processing problems
  • Assists field service techs in deployments & setup of equipment

Basic Qualifications

High school Diploma with 2+ years experience supporting mobile devices

Experience working with printers and mobile devices.

Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area 

Other Qualifications

Candidates with the following experience are preferred.

Experience with Android & Apple phones

Experience with large multi-function Printers

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
