In anticipation of NASA awarding the Human Landing System (HLS) contract in the near future, Dynetics Space Systems Division is seeking qualified engineers and analysts to support NASA programs including HLS that will put the first woman and next man on the Moon. We are seeking project engineers, systems engineers, test engineers, electrical/mechanical engineers, stress/structural engineers, and analysts to join a diverse team in support of the development of a Human Lander System that will take us back to the surface of the Moon by 2024.
Dynetics is seeking talented Propulsion and Fluid Analysts to join a diverse, highly skilled team to create unique solutions for complex problems involving space systems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber, and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost effective intelligence, engineering, and scientific solutions.
The Propulsion and Fluid Analysts will support the Dynetics Space Systems Division with development of HLS with primary responsibility for analyzing propulsion systems, including steady state and time-dependent fluid flows. The project will involve diverse space technologies, subsystems, and systems. Candidates will work in a team environment to support conceptual design through product implementation and must be able to analyze fluids in cryogenic liquid systems.IND2
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.
Candidate must have at least five (5) years of experience with propulsion or other fluid system analysis.
Candidates must have experience with thermal, fluid, and mechanical systems engineering and steady state/transient analysis of fluid flows.
Candidate must have experience with one or more thermal/fluid/mechanical system design and analysis tools such as Easy5 by MSC Software or the Generalized Fluid System Simulation Program (GFSSP).
Candidate must be able to write clear, concise, and comprehensive technical reports and present results to multi-disciplinary teams and customer stakeholders.
Candidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating both verbally and in writing.

Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Preference shown to candidates who possess a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.
