In anticipation of NASA awarding the Human Landing System (HLS) contract in the near future, Dynetics Space System Division is seeking qualified engineers and analysts to support NASA programs; including the history-making Human Landing System that will put the first woman and next man on the Moon. We are seeking project engineers, systems engineers, test engineers, electrical/mechanical engineers, stress/structural engineers and analysts to join a diverse team in support of the development of a Human Lander System that will take us back to the surface of the Moon by 2024.
Dynetics is seeking talented Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineers to join a diverse, highly-skilled team to create unique solutions for complex problems involving space systems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost effective intelligence, engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineers will support the Dynetics Space Division in the development of a human lander system and support equipment, primarily responsible for integration and qualification of GNC hardware into a seamless operational system, working with industry teammates. This position requires the ability to translate high level product development strategies into system requirement specifications and to work with multi-discipline engineering teams to develop lower level detailed requirements. The candidate will work in a team environment to support design through product implementation, and should be able to lead engineering design disposition on all documentation discrepancies.IND2
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Math or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.
Candidates must have at least three (3) years of direct experience in role as detailed above with an engineering company or system integrator where design, testing, and/or modification of human rated aerospace systems GNC hardware was involved.
Candidates must have experience in design, analyzing, and tuning spacecraft attitude and position control loops using time and frequency domain techniques.
Candidates must have experience with design or selection, and qualification, of space rated GPS receivers, star trackers, accelerometers, rate gyros, magnetometers, and sun sensors.
Candidates must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.
Candidates must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Preference will be shown to candidates who possess a Master's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Math or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.
