Position Description

Dynetics is seeking a talented Missile Defense Analyst to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

The applicant will join a group of highly technical engineers and analysts performing modeling & simulation (M&S) assessments for the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS). The candidate will develop, integrate, and/or execute complex M&S and perform analysis of data related to the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program. Efforts may include component, element, and system-level verification and validation (V&V) of detailed digital simulation architectures.

Basic Qualifications

-Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related STEM discipline and 2-10 years of experience in modeling & simulation or analysis of complex systems is preferred.

-Position requires strong analysis skills, proficiency with C++ and Python, and interest in a broad array of M&S and data analysis topics.

-Candidate should have familiarity with probability and statistics and basic software design principles.

-Must have good people skills, be an effective communicator, and have a proven ability to work both independently and in multi-disciplinary team environments.

-Ideally, candidate will have an interest in, or exposure to, elements of the BMDS, including the GMD system (GFC, Booster, EKV, and Communications) and associated radar systems (such as AN/SPY-1, AN/TPY-2, SBX, LRDR).

-Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

Other Qualifications

-Experience with development, integration, and execution of large-scale M&S in compiled languages such as C/C++ is also desired.

-Experience analyzing and processing M&S output and/or flight test telemetry is a plus.

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
