The Strategic Programs office of Dynetics Technical Solutions, Inc. (DTS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Dynetics, Inc., is seeking a qualified Project Engineer for its hypersonics line of business. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics Technical Solutions provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the program manager and staff engineers in organizing, planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating work assignments to meet project milestones or established completion dates. Follow schedule tasks and make sure coordination is occurring between IPT leads and scheduler. Participate in daily meetings with the program manager to address/solve issues as they arise. Document technical activities and keep documents updated per the configuration management policies and procedures. Assist with project plan development. Ensures project documents such as the project management plan, requirements matrix, responsibility matrix and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) are complete, accurate and up-to-date. Tracks Action Items for the whole program and support the closing of the actions. Perform advanced technical work in application development and integration and provide support documentation related to project administration including contract deliverables. Support Cost Account Management activities for the engineering team. Coordinate engineering team meetings, travel, and overhead budget request.
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business administration or technical field is required. Candidate should have at least 7+ years of relevant experience.

Work with a team of engineers and technicians in a fast paced, quality critical environment
Have organizational skills to document work and support configuration management of the technical and production activities
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Strong leadership skills, strong collaboration skills to work with cross functional team members, experience executing and leading test efforts, experience working in a highly deadline-driven environment, experience documenting efforts and reporting out to the team, passion for leading and motivating others and strong initiative.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
