Dynetics is seeking a talented Proposal Analyst to join a diverse contracts team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The Proposal Analyst functions as the central hub of the Proposal team and is responsible for ensuring that all Team Members and Internal Stakeholders receive all necessary RFP documents. The role will involve the coordination and development of the required elements of the comprehensive proposal submission with each of the other Team Members. The Proposal Analyst will serve as the primary POC with the customers’ buyer or contract specialist, facilitating all binding and non-binding, contractual and/or administrative communication between Dynetics and the customer up to the point of receipt of an award document. They will also submit or deliver proposals.
Finally, the Proposal Analyst is responsible for updating proposal status in proposal-related databases and tools.IND3
Candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or 1 to 5 years of experience working in proposal development.
Strong computer skills – specifically a good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS work and Adobe Acrobat – are required.
Prefer familiarity with a variety of technology industry concepts, practices, and procedures as well as experience in preparing proposals for Federal Government customers.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to identify and process business and legal proposal issues; ability to read and understand requests for quotes, invitations to bid, and requests for proposals.
Candidates must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Candidate should also possess the following traits and abilities: Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills; ability to prioritize and meet time sensitive deadlines; good communication skills, both with external customers and internal staff.
Basic knowledge of contracting concepts and familiarity with Federal procurement process and regulations (such as FAR, DFAR, NFS); ability to draft proposal documents in accordance with RFP instructions and/or using preexisting templates and guidelines.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
