Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Systems Architect to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. This position will engage in systems architecture development in support of future Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) Command and Control (C2) and Ground Control Stations (GCS) architectures.
The candidate will analyze technical specifications, doctrinal and operations information, and bring this consolidated technical and operational understanding to the development of the architecture.
The candidate will utilize this understanding in development of formal DoDAF architecture views, and related architectural deliverables. candidate will utilize a modeling tool to create, maintain, and configuration manage the architecture. candidate will ensure that architecture is compatible and in compliance with standards designated by the government customer.
Candidate must be motivated and capable of independent work, and take pride in delivering a high-quality product. must be comfortable learning and researching in order to make sense of broad specifications and new requirements.
Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Information Systems, or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
Should have 0-5 years of experience working with system architecture and systems engineering.
Competency in DoDAF architecture standards and practices is a plus.
Experience with tools for SysML/UML modeling is a plus, experience with other modeling tools is also positive
Experience with Army UAS and Army IOP requirements is a plus
Experience with the FACE technical standard is a plus
Experience with Open System Architecture (OSA) principles for software architectures is a plus
Experience with DOORS for requirements management is a plus
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
