Dynetics has been selected by NASA to participate in the development and demonstration of a Human Landing System (HLS). Dynetics is seeking project engineers, systems engineers, mechanical design engineers, electrical engineers, structural and thermal analysts, manufacturing engineers, test engineers, technicians, and operators to join a diverse team in support of the development of the HLS that will carry the first woman and next man to the Moon by 2024.
Dynetics is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join a diverse, highly-skilled team to create unique solutions for complex problems involving space systems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost effective intelligence, engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The successful Software Engineer will support the Dynetics Space Division in the development of a human lander system and support equipment, primarily responsible for supporting integration and qualification of distributed avionics software into a seamless operational unit. The candidate will work in a team environment to support design through product implementation.IND3
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.
Candidate must have at least three (3) years of direct experience in role as detailed above with an engineering company or system integrator where design, testing, and/or modification of human rated aerospace systems software was involved.
Candidate must have experience developing and/or integrating distributed system software components with an understanding of network protocols, concurrency, and asynchronous communication.
Candidate must have experience in software system design/architecture sufficient to generate a software architecture from requirements and reference models.
Candidates must have demonstrated object-oriented software development experience in one or more of the following languages:
Candidate must have experience working with source control systems such as SVN.
Candidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Preference will be shown to candidates who possess a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.
