Position Description

Dynetics Technical Solutions, Inc. (DTS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dynetics, Inc., is seeking a talented Configuration Analyst to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

The Configuration Analyst will support configuration of development and production projects for defense and aerospace programs. This position will be responsible for executing Configuration and Data Management processes and controls for managing and tracking of configuration changes, ensuring company policies and procedures are implemented in accordance with industry standards and customer requirements. Position requires demonstrated expertise in configuration change management principles.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Identification of configuration items and maintaining of baselines
  • Evaluation of Statements of Work to ensure requirements are clear within configuration planning
  • Management Engineering Change Packages from creation to implementation using Agile PLM workflow
  • Coordinating evaluation and implementation of change requests within cross-functional teams
  • Performing configuration verification and audits to ensure compliance
  • Verification and execution of contract item delivery schedule
  • Management and control of proprietary data in accordance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations, Limited rights, and/or company standards



Basic Qualifications

Candidate must possess a Bachelor's of Science or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.

In lieu of degree, High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of at least five (5) years applicable experience in configuration and data management of defense and aerospace products is required.

Candidate must have at least three (3) years of applicable experience in configuration or data management.

Candidates must have experience using Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools, such as Agile PLM

Candidates must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.

Candidate must be a resident of the Albuquerque, New Mexico area or willing to relocate to the Albuquerque, New Mexico area.

Other Qualifications

Preferred candidates will also meet some of the following:

  • Experience in inspection of complex aerospace hardware
  • Experience with AS9100 quality systems, AS5553 counterfeit prevention, and AS9102 first article inspection
  • Certification in rework/repair IPC 7711/7721 and bare board IPC-600
  • Deltek Costpoint software experience
  • Certification in IPC-610, IPC-620 and J-STD-001 inspection methods

Candidate must be a US Citizen.

Candidate must possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
